customer needs are immediate, and replacements and/or spares
are requested
for same day or for very short turnaround time intervals.
With Fortress's existing inventory of over 10,000 modules
across multiple platforms we can often meet these needs
in-house, in the event that we do not have the requested
part in house, our purchasing department goes to work
immediately though our network of sourcing partners to
secure and ship the part as quickly as possible. Same day
request or next day request are common and we have developed
our purchasing department to step up and secure the
customer's demand post haste. We appreciate and fully
understand network vulnerability in these instances and put
them as an immediate priority.

Sourcing
is often used in advanced replacement situations also where the
customer will be sending us a module in for repair but they need the
part ahead of time while the card in need of repair goes through the
lab and is analyzed and repaired. Once again we support this effort
with in house inventory or we go to our sourcing partners to get the
customer's immediate needs handled.
Customers
also approach us for large quantities of spares to support an
existing network or simply to locate a difficult or hard to find
item. Our networking capabilities and the volume of sourcing that we
generate with our sourcing partners enables us to reach out
worldwide in a matter of minutes and have companies around the globe
searching your parts out for immediate shipment.
